LETS FACE IT: RCMA VK #11

At first I was a bit of a skeptic when it came to the ability to use this palette with ease. I knew I needed a perfect freelance kit foundation product that guaranteed a flawless finish. Let me tell you, it's the best investment I've made thus far.

This particular RCMA VK #11 palette comes with a range of many light to dark tones. Its best applied taking a tool to carve a little product out onto the back of your hand to warm it up- then using your fingertips dab delicately on the skin. The fantastic part about this product is that its blendable & buildable.

Basically, I will always have one of the bad boys on my freelance kit for life. It has proven to be the easiest & most flawless finished foundations I have ever used. If you're on the market to build up your freelance kit, this is a definite gem to consider.

I SPLURGED.

I remember the first time I truly got into makeup & that love was supported by my love for makeup tutorial YouTube videos- especially by Marlena who started makeup geek cosmetics. 

I can't believe how pigmented these gems are & how affordable they are. I would've bought the whole collection of fouled & duo chrome shadows of I had da bank but I decided to at least get a few or four. *wink* 

I love these shadows, I am so impressed & will definitely start collecting these gems. They are so blendable & colour filled w/ loads of shimmer. 

Now that I'm into mattes a lot lately, I'm definitely going to have to check her matte shades & original collection out.

BEAUTIES!

So if you haven't been able to tell, I'm falling in love with colourpop shadows lately. 

They're super buttery, pigmented & very easy to use. At first I was hesitant because I pretty much always use a brush to apply shadows, but these are best used by using your finger tips. Plus, it's super easy! 

As an ipsy point reward, I redeemed the forever a freshman set. I love the matte shadows so much too!

There's a lot to like about colourpop cosmetics, but most of all, it's their super affordable prices + great quality.

TOP #10 2015 BEAUTY FAVES

I can't believe it's already mid January 2016. Time keeps flyin'. However, I'm stoked to share some fantastic gems I've been lovin' throughout this new year soon & all of my faves of 2015 starting... now.

It was the hardest list I had to compile, but when it came down to the decision I realized my top products definitely have to be the ones I use the most.

#10 THEBALM COSMETICS LIQUID LIPSTICK

I have used every liquid lipstick. This one though, it takes the top! It's top-notch & I have full confidence that it's not going to dry out my lips while remaining budge proof.

#9 MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND ERASER CONCEALER

This is my go-to concealer. It conceals the most darkest of under-eye circles while remaining non-creaseless. Even on my no-makeup days this is my go to!

#8 LANCOME HYPNOSE MASCARA WATERPROOF

Any Lancôme mascara to be honest. I have tried so many mascaras & can't even begin to explain my love for this rose scented fave of mine. It's definitely worth the splurge.

#7 MAYBELLINE MASTER PRECISE INK PEN LINER

Up until a couple years ago, I had a hard time connecting the lines. Winged eye-liner was a drag & I ended up realizing that I wasn't the only one. I've learned that felt tip liners are the best fix when it comes to getting the best cat wing, especially this blackest-of-back smudge-proof gem.

#6 NYX JUMBO EYE PENCIL IN MILK

Personally, my overall desire is to make my eyes look big. So, I achieve that by taking any white/nude shade on my lower water line. This pencil in particular though has been mantra, because not only can I use it for opening up my eyes, but also as a base/primer.

#5 SMASHBOX PHOTO FINISH PRIMER

I know, it costs an arm & a leg. It's honestly the best primer though & I can't even begin with how rad it is that smashbox made color correcting primers as well. Also, it's award winning- just sayin'!

#4 NEUTROGENA MAKEUP WIPES- HYDRATING

I'm probably on my 100th purchase of the wipes. I'm not even kidding, these wipes take off the most smudge-proof, fool-proof & water-proof of makeup. Neutrogena, you da BALM.

#3 MAC LIPSTICK IN BRAVE

I love MAC. I love everything they produce. I love this lipstick, I love it with all my heart. The end.

#2 TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY FOUNDATION

This foundation is incredible. I couldn't imagine my makeup routine without it & encourage all to buy this foundation.

#1 MAC STUDIO FIX POWDER FOUNDATION

This powder is my truest of loves because it doesn't leave me looking cake-y but also gives my full coverage. Compared to other powders that feel ashy & drying this powder feels like its barely there but actually does it's job.

So I gave in. Everyone was doing it. Everyone was buying up these gems. 

Let me tell you, Colourpop's  super shock Shadows do not disappoint. First of all, they're insanely pigmented. Secondly, they're super buttery & soft- it's a consistency I couldn't do justice describing because they're just that rad. Third of all, their price per shadow is $5. Yes, five BUCKS. 

Here's some swatches to give you an idea of their pigmentation & payoff. I was so excited to open them up, that I swatched them before I got a chance to capture a brand new untouched photo! Also, I purchased these 3 days ago & they came this morning + it was free shipping.

It's 2016 & cheers to this year! I'm super excited for all the wonderful things in store for this year & to have the joy of sharing it all with you! Life is full when you make it full, so let's make it the best year yet!

Today's post is rather short, but I want you to take this moment to embrace all the good positive accomplishments that you made happen in 2015.
